Who We Are
Founded in 2006 at the University of Southern California, the Association of Public Diplomacy Scholars (APDS) is the first student-run organization in the field of public diplomacy.
What We Do
- Promotes the field of public diplomacy in study and practice
- Provides a forum for dialogue and interaction among practitioners of public diplomacy and related fields
- Develops a network of practitioners and scholars to aid in professional development
- Hosts professional and social public diplomacy events
- Publishes a newsletter with public diplomacy updates and job information
- Cultivates fellowship and camaraderie among members
Who Can Join?
Membership is open to all undergraduates, graduates, and professors at USC who are interested in public diplomacy. Membership dues are $20 per academic year.
